Iplanfinancial Offered 7 day trial period to research government grants Internet
As I have read from other complaints, I initially called and requested the grant packet be sent to me. I was given an authorization number to browse the website. I had to wait 24 hours before the number would become valid. After waiting the 24 hours and finding nothing usefull, I called iplan and spoke with customer service(oxymoron) and explained there was nothing of interest to me and I wishedto cancel my order. I was given the same number as the authorization number to use as a cancellation number and my credit card would not be charged.
I spoke with customer service this morning and gave them the cancellation number and was informed this was not a correct number. "According to the records, no cancellation was made due to no phone call or contact by me". After asking to speak with a manager 9 different times, they agreed to refund half of the monies charged.
The operator had trouble hearing me and I had trouble understanding him. The manager/supervisor went from not being there to being on the phone with another consumer. I understand the operators are only doing as told to hold off or frustrate the customer, however, I was told to call back and TRY to reach the manager.
After 25 minutes I was given the support@iplanfiancial e-mail address to file a claim and then wait the 7-10 days as part of the process. I have done so and will now wait my time to see what happens. As most scams go(my opinion), these folks know what they are doing and what they will get away with. Good Luck to anyone else affected.
