I broke my screen on my iPad 4 and went in to iQue to get it fixed. The initial contact was good and the representative was pleasing. When I picked my iPad up the following day and took it home the screen became very loose and you could lift the glass up and see the curcuit board underneath. I called and they informed me that it needed to be re-glued. After taking it back and leaving it there for the next day I again this time had my wife pick it up. When I got home. I looked at the screen and the adhesive they had used was wiped in patches and stuck onto the new screen. I tried to remove this myself with heavy industrial cleaners and none of them worked. At the same time I noticed there is a very thin bezel around the outside of the iPad glass and that it had not been repaired and in pinching the screen around the ipad noticed it moving a little and making a small popping noise. I called them and discussed the issues and they told me to bring it in for a look. When doing this again another day, the told me the bezel is an additional charge of $25 dollars which I didn't know about and did not see as any type of charge on there website. At this point wanting to have it fixed right I said I would pay for the bezel and left it with them to be picked up that evening. When I came back they rudely told me that it wasn't done yet and I would have to pick it up tomorrow. The next day I recieved a call form them informing that when they were taking off the screen they broke the home button and needed to have a part delivered from another location and it wouldn't be ready that evening but I could pick it up the next day. I left out of town for 6 days. When I arrived back into town and tried to pick the iPad up I was informed they still didn't have the part and were having it shipped. I asked why no one had called me and the representative said it takes awhile to get the part even though I was told they would get it from another location and that he had no idea when to expect it. In asking for more detailed information of when I could finally get my ipad back he said i would have to wait and see. The best he could do would be to track the shipment and try to let me know when he could try to start fixing it. Already very frustrated i asked him what I was supposed to do about all the problems I had already had in trying to deal with them and my frustrations in not having any communication. he was still not apologetic in the least and simply said "you tell me" After hearing this statement I was motivated to explain how I was frustrated and may need to get someone to care by placing a review on the internet because I felt like he really didn't care what I had been through so far. He said "That would be just acting Immature", I was shocked and replied "your reaction right there proves why I should warn anyone else who comes in here exactly what your business stands for. Immature is you not being able to perceive why in world I am not happy and standing there smug not caring about any of it." He then replied " Do what you want but you are being a bully." At this point I had had enough and asked when the manager of the store return that she give me a call.
When arriving home. I started trying to get a customer service number or anyone that I could to resolve my issues but there website and phone number have no customer service prompts. Not even an email to answer these types of issues. But then I found something else on the blog linked to iQue's web page. It turns out the person that I had all of these issues with is none other than one of the Owners named Morgan Mckill. Simply put, I have owned and operated a few very succesfull business's. The fact that the owner; of all people. Couldn't see how treating a customer with as many issues as I have had with one simple fix (One They Specialize In) With a little more dignity and respect. Proves that this report is deserved and warranted. For anyone who is trying to repair their iPad, iPod, iPhone exc.. You would be much better served going through another place such as Fix-a-phone In the University mall or Simple Mac locations througout Utah to get these repaired. By the way I still do not have my device back. It should have taken no more than a day. It has been over 3 weeks!!!
