Hmmm, after attending both Rutgers University and FCCJ, the one thing ANY college educated person will tell you is that you only get out of college what you PUT IN to college. You did have books right? What stopped you from going beyond the "basics" and actually LEARNING, rather then just studying enough to pass a test? I've never had any college professor do much more than provide a syllabus, and give a few lectures. The rest of the education was done as SELF STUDY. If you went on interviews and COULND'T answer the questions...did it cross your mind to go back to your BOOKS and actually STUDY????? The only thing in life that no one can take from you is your education....but no one can cram all the information into your head...you have to LEARN IT before you can EARN FROM IT. Just think of each tuition payment you make as a further investment to take the time now to learn the stuff you didn't bother learning in the 2 years you were in school.

All I can say is $26k for a starting position that "with the state of Florida...and doesn't have too much electronics in it, is simple board swapping", isn't too bad. Considering the benefits of working a "state" job and for someone who scored very low on all the testing areas. I do agree about ITT. You would have been better served attending a local junior college. Would have learned more at a third of the price. Use your time at your current position to brush up on your weak areas at night school and move up and on. Good luck.
