I just have one thing to say. You get out of school what you put into it. And that goes for any school. The teachers have only 11 weeks to teach you a certain topic. And the pace is pretty much set by ITT TECH and they can only make minor changes. If you needed help all you have to do is ask your teacher. I have not met one yet that won't spend time to help students. Partner up with a class mate and study and learn what is being taught. Use the school library and resources not to mention your book.
I see so many students show up late, don't show up, sit and draw, play on their laptops or just converse with friends during class. They all struggle with their grades and lord help them find a job in their field of study. When they graduate with low scores and having to retake some classes they won't be the first ones that get chosen.
I have talked to students that failed courses and they often admit that they just did not take time to do their assignments. And you have a whole week or even longer at times.
Life takes effort. Nothing is handed to you on a silver platter. Just cause you got excepted into school does not guarantee anything. You have to work at it.

I noticed someone else responded basically supporting you to the point of saying it's obvious you did everything you could. Hmmmmm let's review. Let's start with the recruiter. You said no the first time and caved the second and that's the school's fault. You aren't man enough to simply say no. Did he pull a gun, wrestle you to the ground and make you sign? If you are that weak you must succumb to every telemarketers pitch. What would happen when you step into a car dealership. The way you blame others for their aggressive sales tactics I'm sure you had to leave with the most expensive car on the lot. How sad. Next, you say you started cheating and you have the audacity to blame the school for that. Yes you certainly did almost everything you could do, except for maybe doing the homework and not copy off someone else, working harder or getting a tutor. You state you lack discipline. No kidding genius. As far as stating you think you could have handled math 1 but not math 2. How would you know? The first time it started to get hard you immediately went to cheating and copying real student's homework. For the record, algebra DOES play a role in CNS. Let me make things simple for you. Even if you could, which is laughable, at some point it would get hard and you lack the character to simply do the homework and buckle down and work harder, like most of us do. You also stated you have a 120 I.Q. and you can't understand why learning was so hard for you. Since you are clearly incapable of being honest with yourself, let me help you. Re-read the 2 paragraphs above and your answer is crystal clear. As for lacking discipline, hmmmm, yes, that certainly is the school's fault. DUH! Now let's lok at the library test. Didn't take it and promoted anyway. Here's a thought. Show some character, maturity and committment to your education and insist on actually taking the exam and accepting the grade you earned. The school dropping the ball does not give a a man with integrity a reason to accept it. Time for promoting without merit. Are you really so blind and incapable of accepting responsibility that you actually don't see the obvious. Had you worked harder and actually did your own work, you wouldn't have needed to be promoted without merit. You cheated and copied off others and have the gall to, after the fact, to comlain about it. If cheating and copying and getting away with it makes you this angry, I'm almost afraid to imagine what you would be writing if you were failed and not promoted. Then finally after all your whining, complaining and blaming others for your shortcomings and accepted "partial" responsibility. That's real big of you. I'm sure the people you copied from and cheated learned and are working in the field. Being in HR for 25 years I knew nothing of computers before I went to ITT. I did my own work, got tutoring when I struggled and I got a CNS degree from Canton. I'm currently working as a Network Administrator, making a very nice living doing work I love. I stay in touch with many members of the Dec 08 graduating class. Based on emails and phone calls, at least 8 of the 11 I know are working in the field. And last but not least........you state you're not adequate for employment. Well, thank god you at least got that. No kidding, you think. I have news for you Tom, even if you did learn networking skills you would still be unprepared for for employment. You lack practically every soft skill necessary to be a positive, productive member of any company's computer department. My god you are a whiny, bitter, sad man. I'm sure it never occurred to you to look hard at yourself and accept personal responsibility. As a former Human Resource Director for 25 years I can tell you that your pathetic unwillingness to be a man comes across loud and clear to the interviewers. Why would anyone want to hire a bitter, loser looking for someone else to blame for their laziness and incompetency. Do yourself a big favor. Grow up, accept responsibility, and start your search for a better job with a clean slate and an attitude that YOU and only YOU are responsible for your successes and failure. The true measure of character isn't about what you do or say when things are going well, but how you handle yourself when things get tough. I wish you the best of luck in your job search. I'm fairly certain you're going to need it. Ron Anthony

God, please don't think this is you. I just filed a report about the ITT Tech Troy campus. These people are just flat out scam artists. Based on your written report, it is obvious that you did your very best. The classes are disorganized and the instructors do not TEACH! Learning in that environment is next to impossible. It is not meant to be a learning environment at all, we are simply bodies in a mock classroom that generate a profit for the powers that be...
