There are a couple of things you should do right away. First, gather up all your own records of what loans were applied for, the amount used for tuition, and any reimbursements of excess funds that came to you.
Then, contact the lender and notify them that the loans you didn't sign for were taken out without your knowledge or consent.
Once you have a true accounting of everything that has happened, send a certified letter to the school, and copy the lender, the accrediting agency, your state department of higher education, and your state's Attorney General.
That might get the ball rolling when the school has to justify how the loans were received by them
Good luck!
