I started a Jackson Hewitt Franchise 2 years ago. My sales guy Terry Jaks went through the entire sales pitch, about 2 hours. I felt I could be part of not just the "tax season" but also the on going support and research with the IRS and local governments as Terry explained. He said JH was always looking for new offices to work with. So I plunked down the 22k franchise fee, 9k for equipment and advertising, secured an office with the required "frontage" as well as a new phone system. JH premier software ProFiler is a very complicated program that even an experienced user can get lost in. I have had so may re-files because of the confusing software. I have been running in the red since I started. I have called, written and emailed everyone I can. Investor, David Kraut, Senior Director, Treasury, 1-973-496-6429, and Sheila Cort, Senior Director, Communications, 1-973-496-2702. I feel I was scamed into this, and the claim of over 4900 franchised and company owner branches represents many unhappy customers. I will continue to request my full refund, untill I get it. Terry, you should call me to stopp this insanity.

I spend my money to start this business. Mr. Walton, I spoke to 1-800-475-2904 told me I will earn my money in 6 months. This is not working out for me, I want to do something else. Mr. Walton said I could get my money back if this does not work out. Now, I try to get my money back and Mr. Bess says, no refunds. He say this is my business, not his. No refund. I tell him Mr. Walton say refund. Mr. Bess says no refund. I want my money back. Please help.
