James McCormick, Jim McCormick Worst Tenant Possible - Landlords beware New Port Richey Florida
Mr Jim McCormick was a tenant that refused to follow the terms of the lease or the community rules for the condominium he rented. He turned what was a gorgeous little 2B/1B place into a dump. His smoking inside the unit destroyed the A/C unit and his cat ruined all of the carpet. His use of marijuana left burn holes everywhere as he must have fallen asleep with a spleef in his mouth many times. The ceiling was damaged from a roof leak (no fault of the landlord as it is the responsibility of the homeowner's association) and he never told the landlord. At the end of his lease in September 2014, it was terminated due to constant non payment or late payments on rent. We were forced to legally evict the jerk and after we received a writ of possession, he and his band of redneck friends broke into the unit to steal things and do more damage.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS GUY - DO NOT RENT TO HIM UNLESS Y OU WANT TROUBLE WITH YOUR RENTAL AND NON PAYMENT OF RENT. HE IS A SWEET TALKER BUT IS MAINLY FULL OF CRAP.
