James Dirk Roach, AKA Jamie Roxx, Sissy Pesticide, Pop Noir, Pop Roxx, Candy Molly (and perhaps other monikers) sold me 2 paintings, which I have never received. I was told by Jamie to send a check to his business partner, Lenora Dody, which was cashed about a week after it was sent. I waited a few weeks and the painting did not arrive. I wrote Jamie asking about the hold up, and his excuse was that he had not received shipping boxes from UPS, but as soon as they came, he would pack my paintings, email me with a tracking number and ship my art. He did none of the above. I wrote back a week later and he had a new excuse. This cycle went on for 3 months. I figured at this point I had been scammed and did some research on both Jamie and Lenora Dody. I found out that there were numerous rip-off reports on Jamie. This very same thing had happened to other customers. I also found out that James Dirk Roach was running a real estate scam several years prior to this. He's stoles thousands of dollars from customers and friends. He makes up fake myspace & facebook profiles as "friends" and "business partners" that have contacted me promising to send the paintings. I have all of these emails saved. I have reported Jamie and Lenora to the Better Business Bureau and FBI. I suggest if you are a victim of this scam to do the same. He shows his paintings at galleries and charges around $1,000 - $2,000 for them, but goes online under different names and tells people they cost $50 to $100 dollars - a price too good to be true. So this way, people like myself who readily send these checks do not go to authorities to report because they money is such a small amount. Jamie could easily fix this problem by sending his customers the art her promised, but has failed to do so over the span of three months. He uses fake business partners (which are Jamie himself) so he can pass the buck on to them in his rebuttals. He is a thief and con man. Beware if this man and report him to the FBI if you've been a victim.
