In March I contracted with Janet Greene to hold an estate sale in Long Beach, CA. The real estate agent who sold the house recommended her, so I felt comfortable signing the contract that said an accounting shall
be available within 5 business days of the completion of the sale. The sale was held on the March 29 and 30, 2013. As of this writing, April 29, 2013, I have received precisely zero: No phone call, no accounting, no check. My repeated calls to Janet Greenes business line and cellphone have gone unanswered. While
looking (unsuccessfully) for her email address, an Internet search turned up the RipOff Reports on Janet Greene. One week ago I emailed the real estate agent who had recommended her, Sindy Verdugo, with ReMax College Park in Los Alamitos, CA. She responded that she was surprised that I had not received either an accounting or a check, and also surprised by the Rip Off Reports. She said she would get my money for me. I have heard nothing since. Avoid doing business with Janet Greene.
