J.D. Byrider aka CNAC, Best Extended Service Protection ripoff. They weasle out of their promises. N. Charleston South Carolina
I bought my 1994 Saturn from J.D. Byrider and the actual purchase went well. However, within 9-10 months, the engine started sounding really rough...pinging and knocking. I called the Best Extended Service Protection and explained the situation to them. They were going to set up an appt for service and would call me back.
I did not hear from them, so I called them back...I was put on hold, the disconnected. When I called back, there was a message stating they were all at a meeting. I did leave a message and expressed my anger over being disconnect, apparently not by accident. I asked someone to return my call...after 4 hrs, I called back...guess what...disconnected again!
Finally I made it through and the earliest appt I could get was 1 week away. That is fine with me, however, one of the things that needs to be taken care of on my car is the odometer because it quits working for about 20 miles or so, then starts again.
I am pretty sure that by the time I get the car in for service, I will be told that the warranty has been voided because there is no way to verify the actual mileage. Also, I am pretty sure my warranty will not be honored, based on what I have been reading about J.D. Byrider, they seem to weasle out of their promises. Guess I will take the car in next week and see what happens...I will keep you posted on my progress!
