We are in the process of opening an online store and getting all inventories together. We came across the Jdcloseout. I called Sophie one of the reps and she told me about all the wonderful products that they have. I asked for housewares as indicated on their websites which they said are high end brands.
Below is a direct quote from Jdcloseout in the houseware dept- I have a copy printed out and saved.

"High End Brand Name Department Store Code #3 Tabletop, Glass, Linens: All Overstock and Surplus Merchandise from Macys. Beautiful Homeware and Home Dcor Items in these mixes. They include China, China Gifts, Ceramic Dinnerware, Crystal Stemware, Silver Flatware, Table Linens, Silver Gifts, Waterford, some Holiday Items with brands including Royal Worchester, Lenox, Martha Stewart, Mikasa, Sakura, Sam Hedaya, Vera Neumann, Noritake  and more. $999 per pallet ! 2 pallet minimum."
 
I requested for just 1 pallet since I was buying these stuff for the first time. Just got my stuff today and I got crap- all mostly 99 cents merchandise- not worth more than 200 dollars retail at the most for the whole pallet. The best item on the pallet were dinnerware set- listed on their website selling for $5.99 each. I got close to 10 of this -that will be about 60 dollars. I paid $995 for the whole pallet. NOT A SINGLE OF THE ABOVE BRANDS LISTED WAS IN THE PALLET.

My second pallet is for Macy men shoes- she initially sent me an email of which the copy is pasted below

"Hello Veronica,

Please see the manifest attached for 1 Lot in Macy's CA. This is a live load available for today. This Lot is all overstock no store returns. Thank you.

This lot was about $16/pair
The lot attached was said to have been sold when I requested for it couple of days later but then I got a call from Sophie that they have some more Macy mens shoe lots coming out which are more HIGH END stuff BUT this time the price is higher-$23/pair and I thought I got a bargain deal for $22/pair. I got the manifest of the products and view each one- all shoes new. I decided to go ahead with the purchase and paid $3939.65 including shipping. I got my shippment today and 90% are all either badly used, worn, damaged, missing pair, wrong pair, different sizes for same pair. These items are better described as SALVAGED/DAMAGED ITEMS- No more no less. 
 I called Jdcloseout today and got the run around. Sophie told me to wait for her manager to come back on Monday. I spoke with one of the supervisors who was blatantly rude to me and said I got customers returns. I wanted to return all items to them immediately but she said not to until she speaks with her manager on Monday. Today is Friday.
 I specifically told Sohie that I do not want USED items.
At no point- in the invoice, email exchanges, manifests sent that the items were defective or damaged- AT NO POINT- At least if you mention that some of the items may be so and so, I have the option of considering if I like it or not. ALL ITEMS IN THE MANIFEST ARE NEW. 

Waiting till Monday to hear a response. JD Closeout please just refund my money!
