BEWARE, Jeff Folckemer Chief Operating Officer Localedge.com, TalkingPhoneBook.com and will threaten, and shame his clients with his position and other business affiliations in the media. I fell behind on payments on my bill for advertising because of hard economic times and was forced to close my store. I then found out that Local Edge company posted the wrong phone number online formy ad.

I contacted Jeff Folckemer of LocalEdge.com about abuse on our account. Jeff Folckemer refused to contact us or help us although his company posted a wrong phone number for us. His staff Ellen Thompson, Suzanne Wandel, and Christine Carver, laughed mocked and refused to help, saying we have to pay them money first or they would allow the abuse to continue. Someone posted over 20 negative reviews in a 48 hour period in a fake name. This person is also apart of an investigation for harrassing our company and family.

All day I tried to get help from LocalEdge.com and finally left a message on his voice mail that if no one would help me I would be forced to tell others about his unwillingness to help his clients.

Jeff Folckener from localedge.com called me and said I did'nt know who He was. I was told by Jeff Folckener of Localedge, "that if i write this report he would send the media to my doorstep and that I should not F@*k with him because he can make my life miserable. Jeff Folckemer said that he was going to have Hearst Holdings radio and TV as well as Hearst Holdings Inc owned News Papers will be paying me a visit for making this post and I did'nt know who I was messing with!"

Jeff Folckemer told this writer that he would not remove any of the reviews that was hurting my company even though I am a client and his company had the wrong contact information posted on my listing. He told me that if I paid my bill things would be different. and he was not willing to help.

After reviewing the recording I believe that the person doing the reviews come from his company and was used as a way to get my attention to contact them to pay my bill. These are deceptive acts and practices that Jeff Folckener and Local Edge Media uses to intimidate its clients

I will be contacting the New York State Attorney General and will be filing a BBB report as well.

Localedge.com and Jeff Folckermer Chief Operating Officer does not protect the clients that they sign contracts with onLocaledge.com. They will allow your business to have reviews by fake people and say nasty things and they will not help you!!!!!! take them down BEWARE, BEWARE,BEWARE, if someone goes on to your listing and makes false statements about you, they will do nothing to remove them.

LocalEdge.com posted our main phone number wrong for the entire time of the contract until now. They said we'll discount your bill. No sorry, no help your business is just a game to them. They did'nt care about me, my business, family or children being harrassed.

Localedge.com Jeff Folckermer Chief Operating Manager does not care about anything but money, not his clients who sign contracts with him. He will threaten you with his media friends and with his position if you cross him.

SHAME ON THEM!!!BEWARE,BEWARE,BEWARE !!!!!!

He could have tried to help, what goes around comes around!

I'm going make a pretty educated guess that the #1 Consumer Comment proves the point made by the Local Edge customer. The fact that you're pointing out that this Local Edge Customer "has hundreds of consumer problems posted from both his customers and yes - his debtors." leads myself and anyone who reads your comment to believe that you most likely work for the company at a high level, know who the customer is, and are making a very weak attempt to try and discredit his claim. Wah Wha - Really? Are we 12?

My company has had & is having a bad experience with Local Edge as well so I'm not surprised. We were charged a ridiculous amount of money for VERY shoddy service. We paid for a facebook page that never materialized, a twitter acct that never materialized, a website that we already had and a Yellow Page Ad.

My company had already paid for 2011 before I was hired and figured we were done with them. I tried contacting them numerous times regarding the "Internet reputation" service they supposedly provide regarding 2 bad Google reviews that were posted by ex-employees that got fired for failed drug tests and got no help so we just started taking care of them them ourselves and consider it a loss.

Then we get our 2012 Yellow Pages and low and behold, our ad was on the front page however the new logo was wrong, and when you go to our listing the information was wrong. Plus we had two new locations that if we had been contacted at all about this and had agreed, would have rather used. We were charged again for the following year because of the new ad running in the Yellow Pages that we didn't approve or even know was running, yet we were "obligated to pay" because of an ad that we didn't ask for.

I have been called several times by by Local Edge regarding payment for 2012 and have asked them several times if they have an authorized agreement with us to renew for a 2nd year and they say they do. When I ask them to fax, mail or email it to us it for some reason it keeps "getting lost" or "misplaced" or I "must have given them the wrong email address" again for the 5th time. I've explained to them that we didn't agree to rerunning our old ad and unless they produce a legal contract approved by our CEO or VP of Marketing we are not obligated to pay for services we did want or receive.

Our refusal to pay has lead to a sudden spike in numerous bad reviews popping up on the Internet. Reviews that we know are not coming from our customers. I'm sure if I said anything to Local Edge about these negative reviews they would tell me that all I have to do is pay and they will make them stop. Problem is, they didn't remove the 2 that we did have when we were paying for them and I'm supposed to trust that now they will. 

I've worked in marketing & PR for over 15 years and the services aren't that difficult to provide and if they actually did provide them they could probably justify the price. But the harassment is completely unjustifiable. When you Google Local Edge Reviews there are countless websites that make claims regarding the questionable practices of this company and even a few employee websites as well.

I don't know if Jeff Folckemer is a user of foul language but I do know that what Local Edge is doing is considered fraud & extortion. Just ask the New York State Attorney General. We did. And Local Edge will be hearing from them soon.

The real "rip-off" here is that anyone is allowed to post this trash in revenge.

Anyone who know Jeff Folckemer know that he not only doesn't swear, but never has in his life.

He would have never said what was claimed here...

Furthermore, this "complainer" has hundreds of consumer problems posted from both his customers and yes - his debtors.

He fails to mention that HE DOESN'T PAY HIS BILLS !  He apparently feels that Mr. Folckemer and his company are the reason for his business failing - How about be a man and

admit you are a poor businessman and your business failed! 

Stop blaming the people you signed legal contracts with (and never paid) for all your cry-baby

problems - Wah Wah !
