My husbands car broke down next to a dealership, so I had it towed to Jensen Tire because I had been doing business with them for the past 10+ years and never took my cars anywhere else. I'm not sure what labeled me as a chump to them all of a sudden, but they overcharged me for the tow & then took 3 days to charge me for 2 hours of diagnostics, only to LIE and tell me that the timing chain was broken. They told me I could come down and look, that they had the valve cover off and could show me the lines where the chain was off the tracks (what?) so I went down there, but they didn't let me see it, instead Brad talked to me and tried to pussyfoot around & talk to me about the bill. They were charging me for 2 timing chains & extra parts! I had it towed somewhere else. I looked at the engine myself, and the valve cover was untouched, a perfect coat of dust still laid upon it. And hey LOOK! I can see the timing chain by taking off the OIL CAP! Oh and guess what else? it works FINE...I do notice that there's NO OIL in the car (as expected) and what little oil there is has flecks of metal in it (from the destroyed bearings in the upper end). So I need a new engine. Great. I wait a week and call Jensen's CHQ and the man there tells me that my vehicle DOES have two timing chains, that's it's a dual overhead cam. I told him "no it's not, I looked at it myself". He argued with me. He told me the oil was full. I told him "no it wasn't!, that's the reason it broke in the first place". He argued with me. I told him his "guys" were running a scam, and of course, he argued with me. All this man did was effectively call ME a liar, push my buttons, and deny that anything was done wrong. I kept trying to tell him that it wasn't about the money, but all he heard was dollar signs. If he listened a bit closer he might have heard his dollar signs running away from him every time he was rude to me. Jensen Tire is full of scammers, the whole lot of them. I'll never do business with them again. EVER!
