Dear fellow Gator Ramp Distributor,
Please read the attached complaint recently submitted to the General Mgr. of Ramp Solutions(Gator Ramp) in regards to the unpaid balance of ramps drop shipped from my business.
On or about 5/10/05, Mr. Joe Wilmore, G.M. of Ramp Solutions/gator Ramps, contacted Rick's Pro Ramp (former Jackson, Mississippi distributor) in desperate need of full size Gator Ramps. Mr. Wilmore informed me production was behind and was in dire need of ten ramps.
I agreed to allow drop-shipment of my 10 ramps (which I previously purchased on 9/28/04 in the amount of $5,080.00 via credit card) from my location and for Mr. Wilmore to drop-ship said ramps to various customers in the United States. Mr. Wilmore agreed to payment of $499.00 (distributor cost) for each ramp sold totaling $5000.00 The $5000.00 was guaranteed to be mailed upon verification of delivery via U.P.S.
All deliveries were confirmed via tracking of U.P.S. and I contacted Mr. Wilmore to confirm same. Mr. Wilmore
insured the purchase price of $5000.00 for the ramps would be mailed immediately to my address. After waiting approximately 3 weeks after delivery was verified and not receiving Mr. Wilmore's check, and, after numerous phone calls and e-mails which were unanswered, I was finally able to personally contact Mr. Wilmore regarding the unpaid balance.
Mr. Wilmore informed me one of the ten customers in New York received a damaged product from a sealed and stapled box and that he would have to contact all other customers to verify the condition of the product received. Mr. Wilmore was to call me on June 30, 2005 to confirm that all customers received the product in good condition. I personally spoke with the customer in New York and learned the product was defective from the manufacturer not from storage.
As of 11-29-05, Mr. Wilmore has not contacted me nor has he returned my calls. Mr. Wilmore refuses to
pay the unpaid balance to Rick's Pro Ramp for goods received and refuses to contact me regarding the issue. All ramps/boxes were shipped in same condition (unopened, sealed and stapled) as I received them in original shipment to my business.
This case and another has now been sent to collections with an attorney in California with a future court date pending.
If you would like to contact me for further information regarding this issue, I would be more than happy to speak with you. I sent my info to Rip-off Reprot, they will foward that to you to get in touch with me.
