I also purchased this program for $39.95, plus shipping, which was specified. But I didn't purchase it without doing my own research first. You can buy real estate through county & state offices, it is very legal. You purchase the lien against the property, and if you do it correctly, will own that property within a matter of weeks or months. The original owner is given time to come forward to redeem their property, if they don't then you receive the title/deed to that real estate....you are now officially the owner, legally. Don't beleive me, call a local state or county tax assessor's office and ask them if they have any real estate up for tax sale. Not all counties perform the auctions, you need to make the call and find out which county does. It helps that I have worked in a real estate office before so I have some knowledge as to how this program works. These properties are basically foreclosures, owner abandonments, deceased owners w/no heirs and so on. You can make money buying these properties, if you know what you're doing and you do your homework. It takes time to find, buy, acquire deeds and sell...don't expect to make money overnight, it won't happen. That is one thing that is misleading in their advertising, they make it sound like it happens instantly. I have friends that I have given the links and phone numbers to county offices that are inquiring about tax lien properties. And they are all in different states...but again, if you do your research and read the fine print....all states do not have the same procedures on tax lien sales/auctions. And a majority of states do only hold one auction per year, some do 2 and a few have them when they choose. If you would have taken the time to do some investigating of your own, not thought that you'd be rolling in dough immediately...and had taken the time to really try and make the calls or contact the state/county offices....you'd know the truth. And as for those of you wanting to sue for these outrageous amounts of money....come on Reid...$600,000+...what the hell for? You are out of your mind if you think you're gonna get that kind of cash...you will get back what you paid for the program and any other fees they charged your account...that's it. Want my attorney's number cause he'll tell you what he told me when I asked what to do if this ended up being a scam. You're not gonna get squat but what you paid into it. Stop the charges by cancelling the property vault membership, which is $39 a month...call your credit card company and notify them of fraudelent charges and they will flag it. I'm so tired of people crying about all these scams they're getting into...if you don't have the mental capacity or knowledge to understand the material, don't research before you buy or think you can get rich quick...get over yourself. Nothing is that easy, it takes time, patience and alot of hard work. I will be purchasing my first property in August, the state I'm buying in only has one auction a year and it's on August 1st. I'll let ya'll know how it goes. I would be more than willing to help anyone that would like to give the system a 2nd chance. All you have to do is make one simple little phone call to your local tax assessor's office and ask about real property tax sales or auctions.

To anyone from the office or offices of the fraudulent John Beck Mentoring Institute. I am making a limited time offer to square this situation once and for all and finally bring it to rest. For those of you who may be wondering what this is all about...the John Beck Mentoring Institute tried to steal $6,400.00 from me earlier this year. Yes, it's true and I have all the documented proof that I need, of this occurance. According to what's been sold to me, I should be pretty well off by now, but am not, because the program ended up being nothing but a huge scam. My offer, which I will honor for one week only (seven days from the date of this posting) is $600,000.00 after taxes, to rid and cleanse myself from all the hatred, that has slowly been instilled in me. This figure has been established from calculations based on the montly earning potential, that's been quoted to me by Mike Evans, aggravation, computer ware, time wasted, lost wages and also for exponential growth due to arrogance and non-response are all inclusive. I am sure I deserve far more than the asking, but I am wiling to settle for far less to show the world what a great guy I am, and that this situation has nothing to do with money, blackmail, intimidation, extortion, etc, etc, but rather fair compensation, for being dicked around by an unscrupulous company, that's finally willing to acknowledge their wrongdoing and come correct. We all make mistakes in life and deserve a second chance. This is a wonderful opportunity for the John Beck Mentoring Institute to start all over again with a clean slate. I feel that it's my duty as a human being to grant and honor a company a second chance to apologize, compensate, and finally make things right. Wipe the slate clean so the speak. Let me guess, You were up very late one night or possibly even really early one morning, saw what appeared to be a fairytale on television, decided to conduct a google search on the John Beck Free and Clear program, in hopes to see a professionally designed website, but the name led you here instead. Thank the lord above, because the infomercial along with the offer is totally bogus. If you're like me and already fell for the garbage, don't be embarrased and just go into hiding. That's exactly what this fraudulent company wants everyone to do. GET ANGRY!! MAKE NOISE!! LOT'S OF IT!! If you paid with a major credit card, immediately phone your credit card's dispute department and dispute the charges. Go to your post office and mail the crap back to the fraudulent company. Be sure to keep all receipts regarding all of your mailings, postage, etc, etc. Make absolute sure, that you at very least minimize the amount of future victims. If credit card companies see a growing trend (pattern), regarding the John Beck's Free and Clear program, or any other fraudulent program for that matter, hopefully they'll wise up and start taking some action. Perhaps someday even start pursuing fraudulent companies themselves to protect consumers from bad merchants. This would also make a great marketing tool for credit card companies, for it is probably equally as important as identity theft in most consumers eyes. Well at least my eyes. That's why there was absolutely no way the fraudulent John Beck Mentoring Institute, was ever going to get away with my investment. If you placed the $6,395.00 investment on your credit card, call your credit card's dispute department immediately and dispute the charges. Do this ASAP, for there's often only a small window, in which to dispute fraudulent charges. This program is a scam and the people offering this bogus "mentoring" program know it. That's why, if you've noticed, not one person has come foward to defend this fraudulent company. Any attempt to do so would be futile. I got suckered into this scam and got all the charges reversed. It took me nine months of pain and suffering and not to mention perseverance. This company has nothing on you. The "NO CANCELLATION" clause in their contract, which they will inevitibly attempt to use against you holds no water, because they are offering nothing of value. Their "MENTORING" is nothing more than directions to a few websites, where potential investors may possibly obtain properties and information regarding public auctions. Oh yeah, and possibly, suggestions on where to obtain all your tax related information. H&R BLOCK. Oooops, did I give away their secret? As I have stated many times before, this scam is just a trap, where this fraudulent third party marketing company attempts to lure unsuspecting victims, by means of a PAID and deceptive infomercial, fraudulent sales pitches and blatant and malicious misrepresentation. Again they are delivering nothing of value, in exchange for the enormous investment in which they ask, therefore, tremendously lacks "CONSIDERATION". So they can take their contract and wipe their asses with it, for they are in breech of their own contract. There are many companies today that claim to offer "MENTORING". I strongly suggest that everyone avoid all "MENTORING" and other home based business opportunities, especially those being offered via PAID infomercials. Facts to ponder: Why all the fine print in infomercials? What are they hiding? They're obviously hiding something. Why is there no mention regarding an "investment", on their infomercial? Why does everyone's investment greatly differ? That's because, this fraudulent company is only interested in the maximum amount of available credit on each individuals credit card. All of the questions, that they ask during the sale of their fraudulnt program, is used to assess ones available line of credit, and this determines each individuals investment. It's called milk. Why does this company find it necessary to implement a "NO CANCELLATION" clause in their contract? That's because, such a clause inables these crooks to pursue someones investment, regardless if it was they, who have failed miserably to live up their fraudulent claims.
