I signed my daughter with JRP for a three years program that promised:
.Headshot And Zed Card Photo Shoot
.Option 1 or 2 workshops each week
.Celebrity training and question & answer workshops once per month
.Online posting of headshot and /or Zed Card exclusive to agents and casting directors.
.Live monthly Internest Chat with industry celebrities exclusive.
.Two (2) hands-On Productions and )Pod Cast of T.V shows
.Two talend showcases for multiple Hollywood agents.
All of these for $11,900 which I paid in full with my life savings.
I trusted them with my heart and soul and cast my saving in for chance to provide my daughter an opportunity to become what she dreams to be "Acting & Modeling".
The company provide her with a few lesson once a week and the rest of the program will be "coming soon" per Lindy Kwock, talend scout from San Rafael and Alex Potter, director from Campbell.
Everytime I called a new director was replaced and relocated to differnt location. The last person I spoke to is Steve and he told us that the contract we got with JRP is no good, the owner file for bankruptcy and that we need to pay additional $500.00 for my daughter head shot and other fees if we choose to continue.
I am choked with words and disguisted with the act of JPR. They not only stole my life saving, they also stole our sole and dreams.
Today 11/26/08. I received a letter from the United State Bankruptcy Court for Debtor Stanley Chester Robinson whom I never heard of. I called the Attorney for Debtor Robert F Kidd, 825 Washington, St. 2nd Fl., Oakland CA 94607-4079 Tel 510-987-8300.
The representative from the office told me who Stanley Chester is and the letter from the United State court. He told me that the letter is formality by law, I do need to appear or file anything.
I believed the company is a fraud, set up to steal monies from children and family that trusted in them.
I would like to joint other victims for a class action law suit if there is one.
