Johnson Dodge Kia ripoff Meridian Mississippi
We went to this business and should have left when they gave us the run-arounds the first time. They said we were approved, but we received a letter of denial from the bank they claimed we were approved from. The credit manager said to throw it away and that they did get us approved. We signed papers on June 20th, 2006, and it is now July 8th, and we still do not have papers on "our" car, no tag, and the bank has no account with our names on them and said we should have been sent a letter explaining why we were denied. Ok...We call the dealership and talk to one of the sales people that helped us, Marie Brown. She was nice throughout the conversation and has been throughout the ordeal. She said to talk to Charlene, the credit manager. I did. She said to talk to Marie, she would know more. We got more run-arounds. Now Charlene said that she is working on "our" account, and needs to call the bank to see where we stand. That's been almost a week. I went in today and pitched a fit, wanting my money I paid down, and here's the keys to "your" car back. After getting a smug look from Charlene today, I can honestly tell you, I never ever want to do business with them. She basically got us in a car to get us out of their dealership that day. We stayed there that day for over 6 hours. Now, she has put us on the backburner thinking she can sell our contract to someone else getting us approved but she can't. She knew her a*s was in a crack, and this is what it has come to. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE! THEY WILL LEAD YOU ON! Now, they want to withhold some of our down payment because we put miles on the car since we drove it. They are looking at it like we drove it as a rental car and it wasn't ours. I'm telling you people, run like hell when it comes to this dealership!!
