Jonny Towing Illegal multiple credit card charges Elwood Illinois
After one of our semi trucks broke down on the road near Elwood, IL, we called Jonny's Towing due to their location and their willingness to get the job done in a timely matter (both which they did)...the issue is they have charged the company credit card FOUR TIMES for one event. The original tow cost - $675.00. On Dec. 15 they charged the card TWICE and on Dec 19 they charged the card $6750.00. The wrong charges were cancelled by our credit card company but on Dec. 29 they charged our account another $675.00 again.
While the service employees (the wrecker employee himself) did a great job...the billing department is horrible and dishonest beyond belief.
Moral of the story...we will never use this company and strongly suggest other motor carriers avoid this towing service if at all possible.
