JordanAlmonds.com, Hometowncandy.com, Hopewell Valley, Hopewell Valley Riding, Company charged my credit card within 30 minutes, but sent no confirmation, didn't answer email or phone Ewing, New Jersey Internet
DO NOT USE JORDANALMONDS.COM!!!
I made a huge error that I have hopefully corrected. I went looking for candied almonds for my step-daughter's wedding. Googled and the first name that popped up was "JordanAlmonds.com". Looked thru the site, it looked good, there were some letters from satisfied customers so I placed my order on Saturday with 2-day delivery. I was not surprised to not get a confirmation on Sunday but did expect to hear from them of Monday.
They had charged my credit card within 30 minutes of my placing the order and I really thought I'd get some response on Monday morning. Started worrying when I couldn't call them. Then I started doing a bit more research. I realized all the letters on their site were 2+ years old. And then I found your site and realized that I was lucky to have enough time to re-order the almonds from another site.
True, I now have to pay about $100 for overnight postage to get the almonds here on time but at least they will arrive here tomorrow! My credit card company has put in a formal dispute claim so I'm lucky that I won't have to pay for the no-show nuts.
I really wish there was a way that Google could have a quality rating for companies they have in their vast supply of information.

Concerning the order I placed on Saturday and emailed you concerning about 5 hours ago....I found a charge on my MASTERCARD for $291.15 which is the amount of my order placed with you. The charge was recorded on Saturday, the day I placed my order. But the charge was from Hopewell Valley Riding in Titusville, NJ. I tried to call the phone number listed on GOOGLE for the Riding Center but the phone has been disconnected.
I am VERY worried that my order will not arrive tomorrow because I still have not heard from you! I have finally gotten to your voice mail and left a message which includes my phone number: XXX-XXX-XXXX
I expect to hear from you Wednesday morning at the very latest concerning my order and its expected arrival time.

I sent 2 emails to you on Tuesday, July 29th. I have tried to call you at least 45 times at about 4 different phone numbers in NJ. Below is a copy of the second email I sent in the late afternoon. More than 36 hours have gone by since you should have received the second email. I have gone ahead and notified my credit card company to not pay any money to ANY New Jersey company who try to charge my card for $291.15. I have included the different names that you do business under including and not limited to "JordanAlmonds.com", "Hometowncandy.com" and/or "Hopewell Valley Riding".
I have added my name to those who have reported you to the BBB, the ripoffReport.com and I am considering getting in touch with the Ewing Police department as well. I have no interest in doing any business with you and you obviously have no interest doing any business with anyone at all via your web site. I will be saving a copy of this email to sent to Citibank Customer Service and to my attorney as well.
