I am just one of the thousands of victims who purchased a home from Houston's most shoddy, disloyal, and corrupt home builder Jorge Casmiro, Tremont Tower, LP.. Casmiro, Thibodeau, and Ahmad hide behind over 43 Texas DBAs, skipping taxes leaving the homeowner with a lemon filled with mold and no help with repairs. Tremont and Stature Construction do not disclose mold, leaks, water damage to homebuyers. I am now homeless, jobless, and carless because of Casimiro and Tremont.
66 vacanies out of 76 units at Tremont Tower can't be wrong. I lived in 410 while units 310 & 510 were closed off for mold remediation. No one wants to live in mold, midew, must and get sick with nosebleeds, dimentia, fatigue, sneezing attacks, and fever as I did for six months until I moved out. The roof has over 15 patches from water damage and leaks.
I have no rights in the state of Texas to protect myself from this. I am stuck with a huge mortgage on a home I cannot live in. My health has deterioted due to mold and Casimiro is suing myself and my previous employer, forcing me to resign from work.
The State Attorney General Office only has 4 lawyers and thousands of complaints that never enter our legal system. Condos do not fall under the TRCC (Texas Residental Commission). My only right is to protest and be public.

When you can't stand it anymore and begin to protest on the street, the builder gets the police to harass you.

They send out tow trucks to tow your car while you are still in it?

When you declare bankruptcy because you cannot afford to live in your defective house and pay rent on an apartment?

Many homeowners have been harmed by Tremont, not thousands. There are Tax Liens against Tremont Tower, L.P., not tax evasion. Judge Eckels has no direct involvement, other than appointing Jorge Casimiro to Houston's Housing Authority Board, which is a direct conflict of interest to homeowners as myself. Juliet marketed Tremont Tower, as is noted in my closing papers. First Texas Residential, Doug Brown, signed off on my mortgage papers, noting I made five times the income stated on my previous year's W-2 Form , allowing me to qualify for a Tremont Home. Bernie Kane sold me my Tremont Tower Condo unit and negotiated the price and mortgage on my behalf with Jorge Casimiro. The damage resulted from construction defects throughout the building and continue to develop (ie. structural cracks from the 3rd to 4th floor in ceilings).
