NSS MAGAZINE RIP-OFF
On my January Mastercard bill there was a charge from NSS magazines for $30. It caused my charge card to go over limit which resulted in an addition $15 over-limit fee. I couldn't recall ordering any magazines so I typed NSS magazines into google and your website came up!
After reading the various stories I realized what had happened! I had purchased a book from HALF.COM and afterwards, a window popped up saying I was getting a FREE GIFT. I went on to choose my free magazine subscription from the list provided, for 3 months of some crafts magazine. NO WHERE did it say I was going to have to cancel before I received the free issues that were supposed to be a GIFT.
To make a long story short, I called the 1-800-382-5210 number and talked to "STEVE" who told me my credit card would be refunded the $30 charge within 2 billing periods. We shall see about that.
Meanwhile, I plan on reporting this to my MASTERCARD as FRAUD. After all, I didn't authorize the charge, period. I don't know how much this may help but I will try and see what happens. These NSS buggers seem to be persistenta nd crafty from what I have read here so far.
