Maybe you did not understand but the person who wrote the inital complaint was the same person who pawned it with my company. He was just angry because he did not pay on his guitar within the given contract date and we had put it on eBay.

He did not say he stole the guitar himself. If the guitar was stolen - you Pawn Shop owner are responsible for receiving stolen goods. My guess is once the true owner came forward - you posted it for sale immediately. Because you would have lost the money you gave to the thief. I'm sure that being a Pawn Shop owner you deal with the police looking for item stolen by others and pawned at your shop regularly - that is what the police do with these kinds of things. They hit the pawn shops first!

You do not mention a name but the only gentleman that has contacted us is Jonathan the person who pawned the guitar. So I will assume that is you. You pawned the guitar on 10/10/08 it was due on 11/9/08. You failed to come in and make a payment. We tried to call you when it became late the number you gave us was a wrong number. After holding the guitar an additional 15 days the guitar came out for sale. On 11/26/08 we placed the guitar on ebay where it is currently on. Once you became delinquent on your guitar it became our property. We have a policy not to end auctions once they are on. So if the manager suggested bidding on the guitar. He was telling you how to get it back. I understand times are tough and sometimes people lose items they pawn and it is hard. But I do a run a business and I can't wait for everyone. That makes me a business woman not a thief. I have bills I have to pay too. By the way Your Xbox 360 is out for sale as of today are you gonna say that is stolen as well.
