Justin Lanno Fraud - Scam Artist - Will steal your money - Do Not enter business agreement , Internet
Justin Lanno is a scam artist. Beware. He contacted us via internet in response to a craigslist listing requesting a website designer. He actively pursued us, talking smoothly about his abilities in designing a website. Unfortunately, we fell for his game and believed he was a professional. He urged us to western union him money right away because it was the fastest way to get it to him and he wanted to 'get started immediately on this project".
We sent the money and then heard NOTHING- we spent the next 36 hours contacting him to see if he received the money and what the next steps were. We started to get worried and then began research on him and soon realized we made a big mistake in trusting him. He already had 5 fraud complaints against him and we realized we were also victims in his games.
Our next steps were to contact officials and we let him know we wanted our money back because the process had already begun to be shady and unprofessional and we wanted to terminate the project. He finally responded refusing to return our money saying "it just wasn't going to happen." Then he threatened to use his SEO skills to make sure no one would ever utilize our business.
He made it as difficult as possible- do not trust him - do not work with him - do not send him any money. He will pretend that he is going to do what he says and he is good with his words, like a true con artist - but he does not follow through. We made this report so that hopefully no one else makes the same mistake as us. Do not trust Justin Lanno, he is a scam artist.
We are taking the steps to bring this con artist to justice, if there are other victims out there that also want to move forward with legal action, please contact us.
