Hello, I contacted the State consumer protection agency in Wyoming and file a complaint against Kennedy Western University (Warren National University), I am in the same boat as others, I could not finish my degree two yeras ago for extreme health family reasons, now the school is close and would like my money back. The agency in Wyoming is going to send me a complaint letter and will follow suit to KWU and hopefully we can get some attention from the school. Please let me know if anyone is in the same situation as me and maybe we can work together to resolve this issue.

My situation is very similar to everyone else's except I never withdrew from classes. I was actively trying to pursue my degree and Warren National stopped answering their telephone or responding to emails. When I ran out of classes I had no choice but to stop actively continuing in my studies. I did finally receive an email from Andree Swanson in August telling me to be patient, after a year of absolutely no contact. I would be interested in filing a class action lawsuit. I have contacted my Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I want a full refund. If anyone has any further advice or guidance as to how to continue this it would be much appreciated.

A CLASS ACTION SUIT TO FIGHT THIS RIP-OFF IS IN ORDER!

Sounds like to me you and everyone else who was ever enrolled here before the "school" ALLEGEDLY took the money and ran have the ingredients for a CLASS ACTION SUIT! Can the cockroaches who ran away after getting your hard-earned cash be found? YOU BETCHA! Can you get a judgment against them? Sure sounds like it to me. But I am NOT a lawyer. Your best bet is to start shopping lawyers in your state who are certified to practice law by your state's bar association and SPECIALIZE in Class action lawsuits because you definitely want someone who know what they are doing. These "school shysters" MAY have hidden your money in offshore bank accounts and other places where non-disclosures of financial assets is the rule of the day. You also need to turn these people over to your state's attorney general, state educational agency that licenses these schools to do business in your state, the Federal Trade Commission because it sounds like they were using the Internet for some of this and that is for starters... But you had better ask an attorney for more information. Don't let these scumsters get away with RIPPING YOU OFF!

I enrolled in the program and was about to start my first class when we had something happen in our family so I delayed starting my class but had already set up the loan. I check back awhile later and see that they are dropping my degree. I asked for a refund but they said since it was past 270 days that they couldn't give it. So using that logic, if someone had started the degree 271 days prior then they wouldn't even have the 18 months they say you could finish in. Well after fighting with Martha for a month in emails I finally just asked since I had already paid if I could just get a different degree and she agreed and said counselors would contact me. Shortly after that I see that they are no longer accepting students. So they decided to keep my money and not accept me. If anyone has a clue what to do please tell me. I am $8000 in the hole without doing anything but doing a practice test in a class they don't even offer anymore.

Just to let you and everyone else with this same problem know that I filed a complaint with the agency they are seeking accredidation with a few months ago. I thought it was lost hope until I received an email from the chair of the team going to WNU next week. He asked about 10 questions pertaining to my situation which was almost the same as everyone here. I will be adding this list of complaints posted here in my reply. I encourage all to file a complaint with the agency listed on WNU website. Maybe this will get their attention. WNU wouldn't respond when I asked for refund. At first I was asking to be reinstated into a different program but they refused to comply. I hope they get theirs. Remember to file a complaint with the learning commission. Thanks for reading.

It looks like a lot of others are having the same problems with this scam of a school as I have been having over the last 3 years. I withdrew from the school soon after enrolling and have never been able to get a refund --which is over $8,000.00 . They took my money very quickly but I have not been able to get anything accomplished thru several calls, emails, you name it. I would love to be involved in a class action suit against them. I know by reading this web site and others that there are more of us out there.
