Keystone Financial Services Winner of $250,000.00 Compensation drawing with check to cover tax liability enclosed Brandon Manitoba
My 84 year old mother receved a letter from Keystone Financial Services that claimed she was a winner of a Compensation Draw organized for all consumers in conjunction with the Sweepstakes Association of North America. It claimed she won $250,000.00 US. It had a check attached drawn on Commerce Bank located in Philadelphia PA for $4,750.00 to cover the taxes on the winnings.
The letter said she needed to contact Chelsea Smith, a claims agent at 1-778-861-8485 in order to claim the balance owed from 9AM - 5PM (PST) and even gave a Laura White a tax agent in Brandon, Manatoba Canada to make it look official. The last line said " In order to act upon this letter you must contact your claims agent first". The letter was signed by Robert Anderson, Promotions Manager. Though the details are somewhat differant it is very similar to anouther report listed in the Ripoff Report. I wanted people to know this as trying to ripoff an 84 year old woman is disgusting. If she did not have a person who could check this out she may have fallen for these lower than humans attempt to suck money out of innocent people.
