I Regret Doing Business With K&H Windows

I wish I had not ordered windows from a Colorado-based company called K&H Windows (5805 W. 56th Ave., Arvada, CO 80002, 303-421-7100, khwindows.com) in May 2003.

I Regret Ever Contacting K&H Windows

I wish I had ordered windows from another window company.

I Regret That I Had to Hire a Lawyer in January 2004

I wish K&H Windows had not filed a lawsuit against me in Denver county court after I complained to the Better Business Bureau and the Tom Martino Troubleshooter Network about K&H Windows's products and services.

I Regret Talking to Wes, a K&H Windows Salesperson

I wish I had never invited Wes, a K&H Windows salesperson, into my home. I regret looking at the contract he presented. I am sorry that I listened to the things he said.

I Regret Dealing with Andy, a K&H Windows Installer

I wish Andy, a K&H Windows installer, had never step foot in my building. I'm sorry that he spent hours working in my home. I regret that he spoke with me multiple times during the summer of 2003.

I Regret Doing Business with Ted Roland, President of K&H Windows

I wish I had never contacted Ted Roland, president of K&H Windows. I regret that I know his name, and the name of his company. I'm sorry that I assumed he could help me when I was reporting my complaints and frustrations about K&H Windows to him in September 2003.

I Regret Trusting Tom Martino's Troubleshooter Network

I wish I had not relied upon Tom Martino's Troubleshooter Network (troubleshooter.com) to recommend K&H Windows. I am sorry I did not know better.

My Gift to Ted Roland, President of K&H Windows

#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

Sun, July 11, 2004

My Gift to Ted Roland, President of K&H Windows: A DICTIONARY. Inside this important and rare manuscript are a handful of words so easily misunderstood and so easily misused. WORD #1: After. Notice the meaning of "after" as separate from the meaning of "because." WORD #2: Completed. Variation on "complete," meaning "having all necessary or normal parts, components, or steps." Secondary definition: "thorough; consummate." Example usages from the dictionary: "a complete coward." Other misunderstood and often misused phrases: "bent over backwards," "lack of response," "had no choice," "stand behind our work." And my gift to "well over 1,000 homeowners a year" ... My sympathies.

K&H Windows Response...we regret any situation

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Fri, July 09, 2004

K&H Windows did not file a lawsuit against Eric because he complained to the Better Business Bureau and the Tom Martino Troubleshooter Network. K&H filed the lawsuit because after K&H completed its work, Eric refused to pay the amount he owed as set forth in the contract he signed. K&H provides a Lifetime Guarantee and we informed Eric we would stand behind our work and take care of any additional service that might be needed. We responded to Eric's complaints against us to both the Better Business Bureau and Tom Martino Troubleshooter Network. Both organizations felt that our response and offer to resolve the issues were both reasonable and fair, but Eric refused to even respond to those offers. K&H bent over backwards to try working out the issues Eric raised, but due to his total lack of response and refusal to pay the amount he owed on the contract, K&H had no choice but to file a lawsuit to collect the money Eric owes. As a company, we regret any situation that reaches this point. However, K&H works with well over 1,000 homeowners a year and Eric is the only one that required us to go to such lengths in a number of years.
