Do not deal with Kids Talent Network in Las Vegas. What a rip off! We emailed them a pic of our daughter thinking they were legit-WE WERE WRONG!
We received an email back from them. Here it is:

Talent Coordinator
So, we spoke to this scam artist Renee who gave us a sales pitch like no other! She said how wonderful my son was and that she wanted to represent my son. I asked her "are you an agency". She replied..."kind of"...whatever that means! By the way, NO they're not an agency. My husband and I did some research and found that in Nevada there is very little regulation with these types of companies and that's why scammers run to places like Nevada and open up shop! In New York and LA, they could not get away with this! Too many tough laws. However; we also found out that because Kids Talent Network is advertising nationwide via the Net, they are bound by the laws of each state they advertise in. So, for example, if they're advertising as an aegncy (or something "like one" as scammer Renee said) in California, they are bound by the talent agency laws in California, which, yes, we read, with an attorney. Our attorney said that Kids Talent Network is violating so many of talent agency restrictions in California, it's not even funny!
So parents, you can sue kids Talent Network in California or New York, under the laws of those states. Just go to the Labor Boards and reserach the laws. Based on Kids Talent Network's own website, my attorney said that they are giving the impression that they are an agency; they try to get jobs for their customers; that's an agency, period.
We are no longer naive to this business! We have done hours of research and found every law this company is violating in New York and California. We are in the process of contacting the City Attorney in each city and the Federal Trade Commision to make sure they're aware of these crooks. Also, they are other complaints about this company on this site alone, just go back to the home page and search under kids talent network.
It's really sad that there are companies like this that open just to suck new parents in and take their hard earned money for nothing.
It didn't work on us and hopefully other parents will read this and run the other way.
Remember, if you're outside of Nevada, you can still sue them under the laws of YOUR state and get big damages. Speak with a competent attorney. Even if they fight the venue, most courts will have the case heard in YOUR STATE due to the fact they were advertising on the net.
good luck.
