Krystal, I have also been having trouble with Lady Fitness, but with the West Haven (Roy) facility. I belonged to the Layton gym for 2 years and have belonged to the West Haven site for 4, a total of 6 years. I have paid my dues faithfully and have been a consistent gym user. They seem to want nothing to do with me now that I have a problem. My husband is out of work and I just wanted to know if there was a way to defer my membership or cancel it under special circumstances. The only option they have offered me is to do a 3 month freeze. This would not allow me to use the gym for 3 months, but I would still be required to pay my membership fees during those 3 months. I am told the 3 months will be added free on the end of my membership contract time. This seems ridiculous and unhelpful to everyone involved. Why offer a freeze, but still require members to pay? I have also found other problems with this company, many people having the same problem you did. Check out the post and my rebuttal by searching Lady Fitness usa on this site.
