I received a text on my phone from Mr. Joseph Correa claiming my resume had been reviewed and approved by HR Dept. He told me positions were available and to contact Donna Snelling at [email protected] I told him I would contact her in the morning since it was 9:30 PM.
Donna asked me to download Google Hangsouts and interviewed me via chat. I found that a bit unusual. The whole ordeal took a few hours.
They emailed me a W-4 and an I-9 and asked me to send it back signed. I told her I will not give out my SSN to anyone and she replied I'm a mother and have a family. I am not here to scam people.
They also said they were going to send me an HP laptop and a check to purchased materials I would need but to purchase them from thier vendors.
In the meantime my acceptance email was sent to me and was copied to about 30 other people. One of them had replied back to them asking to please be removed from their list. I emailed him and we he said he felt this was a scam as well and he sent me the other Ripoff Report link.
They claimed they were opening a branch office in my city in July. That's the same lie they told the other person who submitted a claim.
I just want to warn others not to fall victim to this. I believe the company in India is legitimate, but I also believe these people have nothing to do with that company.
