Lease Finance Group LLC I went out of business and they are still holding me to the contract. Chicago Illinois
They did the same thing to me. I was just starting a new sole proprietorship in March 2007. They suckered me into the expenses and started automatically drafting my business checking account.
In November 2007 I just couldn't hang on to all the circumstances that surrounded my business. I had too much overhead and folded the company in November. I closed the business, closed my accounts, etc. Now they call me no less than 10 times a day, harassing me for payment. I tried to explain to them that I went out of business and no longer have a need for the machine. They were not understanding at all, demanding that I pay them at once. And demanding that I was locked into a contract. It doesn't matter than I went out of business. They don't care.
This has already hit my personal credit report. It was bad enough having to fold the company now they can't just leave well enough alone.

I too was suckered into the constant rip off of these so called companies.Its been over a year now since I was able to get out of there money grabbing clutches preying on small business.I have been in the recording biz for over 40 years and have seen a huge down turn in the music business in the last 3 years.So too help with the cash flow one of there salemen came to me and said that using there credit card service would really help my business.To make a long story short it cost me $400.00 to do $500.00 in Visa sales.When I put a stop payment on there monthly charges(what ever they felt liking taking out) thats when the fun really started. Over 20 calls per day for 7 months and many times letting the phone ring for 10 minutes at a time.I bought a call blocker that really put them in there place.I have it set so when they call the phone hangs up after 5 rings LOL.I then filed a report to the Attorney General of the State of Minnesota.Sent a registered copy to Lease (sleaze) Finance but never sent it to the Attorney General LOL.In 2 weeks time the calls stopped and a letter of apology from Lease Finance.The other company that was involved was Abanco.They turned it over to a collection agency called Recovery Systems who were going to sue me but they too gave up after several attemps because I blocked there phone number too LOL.I did have to open a new business checking account . As far as ruining your credit I dont think they had a chance with mine.I just checked mine again and I have a credit score close to 900.I think when they saw how I never had a black mark against me they did not have a chance to file a black mark against my impeccable high credit rating.I feel really bad when I read all of these sad stories.You need to "fight fire with fire" Do not be intimidated by these bullies and con artists,"take the bull by the horns" Good luck.
