I was put in touch through my daughter with an agent for Lease Finance Group LLC. He came to my house with his contract which was for 48 months at $41. a month. I was told at time of signing I could cancel at any time and he would be responsible for finding someone to take over my contract. I was told after 48 months the machine was mine. About a month after he signed me up he disappeared, all phones were disconnected.
I paid for almost two years, then I got a letter I owed taxes on their machine for two years. That was a flag to me as until then I thought the machine was mine. I called and was then told I had to pay my 48 months and that, that was just for rental of said machine. I would still have to pay for machine to own it after the lease. Up until then I was paying monthly although my business had long before gone bust. I figured I'd pay the 48 months and then sell my machine to recoupe some of my money.
As soon as I found out what LFG was doing I told them I would not pay anymore. They said they would take it out of my account. I immediately cancelled my account. At the same time I sent back their machine Insured and Certified and tracked it to see they received it. In their last letter they want me to send their machine back. They received it around four months ago.
I answered their calls in the beginning and then stopped. They continue to call, the last few calls are threatening legal proceedings against me, with me paying court costs etc... They are threatening my credit with the Credit Bureau. I receive several letters a month and get plenty of phone calls.
I would consider being part of a class action suit against them if one is ever started.
