I purchased a "new open box" from this company on 5/14/10.  The TV came today and it is broken (shuts off and on randomly, HDMI connector is loose, and as of today there is no sound). I contacted customer service via several e-mails and telephone and they refuse to replace the item. They want me to contact the manufacturer to come fix the TV but I purchased it from their store. It is absurd that the SAME exact date I receive the TV, it is not functioning. Obviously they are in the business of selling defective TVs and scamming customers by making them go through the manufacturer. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as this is ILLEGAL! BUYER BEWARE!

If you do a little (not much) research on this company you will see that they are a fraud and have done this to MANY customers. I have also submitted a complaint to the Ohio Attorney General to investigate their lewd selling practices as well. I was in fact refused an exchange. If it wasn't faulty and they do not sell faulty products why would they not send a replacement and avoid this trouble as any other reputable store would? It was not due to a bad connection/install as I had two technicians at my house (one being a certified TV installer from my cable company) at my house stating the TV was defective at the time the TV arrived and would not function. I can provide the names and business affiliations if need be. I have another LCD TV in my house (obviously not purchased from Legend Micro) that provides no trouble due to my installing. I ended up contacting LG because I had no choice-I had a 42" inch box sitting in my living room that kept making noises when it shut on and off randomly along with short circuiting my electricity-it caused me to be in fear of an electrical fire. The same day I submitted this complaint, shortly after, the TV also stopped producing sound and the HDMI connecter stopped functioning as well. The "main/motherboard" has been ordered for the TV as they have determined the "brains" of the TV are in fact defective. This TV would NOT have passed inspection by a 3 year old. I can provide the invoice copies to prove this.
