I sent this attorney a full description of what transpired at CBP on my return from Asia with my daughter via email.  I explicitly mentioned that my resident card and Mexican passport were taken from me & that I was to be sent via mail a date to appear in Immigration court due to the fact that I have 2 misdemeanors on file.

Leon advised me to file for citizenship ASAP and charged me $5,500.  Verbally he said this fee would entitle me to his representation via the Citizenship interview & the Immigration Court.  This was done immediately but when I got the "Notice to appear in May for a Sept hearing he called me in to request an additional $15,000 to represent me in this court.  I do not have this kind of money and since I was on a payment plan and I had to date paid him close to $3,000 + $680.00 for the Citizenship Application.

I was advised from another attorney that Leon should have known better to advise me to file for citizenship while knowlingly made aware that I had a pending hearing for "Removal Proceedings".  Sure enough when I was called for my Citizehship Interview I was turned down.  I wasted $3,700!

I sent Leon an email requesting a refund and his return email was:
