LG Appliances - Refrigerators Expensive, LOUD, Noisy Compressor, won't replace new refrigerator!!! Huntsville, Alabama
I purchased an LG Top Mount Model #LMX25984 with the two drawers at the bottom. Before one month had passed I called them to say my Refrigerator PULSATES. It is so LOUD that I was embarrassed when some friends came over to play cards and they could hear it.
I called LG and they sent out a flippant service technician, who AGREED that it was noisier than usual and he would recommend they replace my compressor. Then he states that it might not do any good and could make my BRAND NEW Refrigerator not last as long as it would if we did nothing.
This refrigerator was expensive and now I'm stuck with this for however long it lasts making this terrible NOISE.
I called LG after he left and told them I wanted a new refrigerator and the woman I spoke to said that she was to INFORM ME that the ONLY thing they would do was replace the compressor, they would not give me a new refrigerator. That's when I INFORMED her I would be writing this complaint everywhere I could and get the word out, DO NOT BUY an LG BRAND.
My advice to you, buy Whirlpool, or Samsung as my other family members did and they are VERY HAPPY. I will NEVER buy an LG ANYTHING again.
