I joined Links4Trade through stores online, for purchasing 6 websites through storesonline I was given a 1 year platinum membership per site. I had a written contract guaranteeing me 50+ links in the first few months, and a personal representative who would be responsible for assisting me.

I never received a personal representative. All the Links I did receive through this company I searched out. I never got any help. And I never got 50 links.

This company just bills you after your free year is up. There are no notifications, or receipts sent to you. I realized my year was up when I found a charge on my bank account I couldn't remember making. This was the second charge they made to me, I didn't catch the first one.

My website was not doing well and I had already cancelled it before I contacted Links4trade. I explained that I had been using there service for my free year and it really wasn't what I was promised, and that since I was disbanding my site I did not need it and they had defaulted on their contract, while I was using them. I was not angry I explained but did not see the point of paying for a service which was never provided to me by written contract.

The customer service rep had to contact the supervisor to see if they could refund my charges, which were 12.95 and 12.75. A total of 25.70. stating she would call me back later that afternoon.

When she called back she informed me that her supervisor had said that if I had a problem with the service I should have complained sooner and that they could not issue me a refund but could extend me 2 months service for free.

First of all, the supervisor was aware I had discontinued my site so why the offer of 2 months free? It's a useless offer, and if it's the same value as a refund what difference does it make except to offer bad customer service? Also I think in this country we have a right to complain when we feel we have been infringed upon, I don't usually complain about bad free services but wouldn't want to pay for one.
