Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I wish I would have looked on RipOff Report before I signed up with LiveDeal. I don't know why I didn't. I am the person that snopes every fwd she gets and is careful and skeptical before making a deal. I was just 100% certain after talking to Derek Shores the LiveDeal salesman who got me to sign...that I was in capable hands and I felt very certain this was going to be a solid investment. I felt this way because I BELIEVED everything he told me.

Do NOT believe anything a LiveDeal telemarketer tells you. DO NOT sign up with Live Deal unless you want to LOSE money. Now that I have had to deal with the nightmare that is trying to cancel/get my money back, I read this ripoff report which is pretty much the EXACT story I have: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/421/RipOff0421132.htm

I was promised that I would be updated monthly on my campaign by Derek Shores. That I could call him any time with any questions. He would be showing me reports on what keywords got me clicks...you get it. An extensive proof that the money they were getting from me was being used. I already had a pay-per-click google adwords campaign that I was running myself. Derek asked for my password so he could get it closed and switched over to my Live Deal campaign.

I was led to believe that I would be getting a minimum of 900 clicks a month or I would not be charged for the next month. Upon disputing this with LiveDeal they say it's 900 clicks for the YEAR. I would not have signed up to pay $300 a month for 2 or 3 clicks a day. I was getting a moderate amount of business capping off my pay-per-clicks with Google Adwords at $50/month. I did not get any business off their LiveDeal "campaign." Now they can not guarantee business, but I can guarantee YOU that you won't get any business in dealing with LiveDeal.

Two months went by in which I had already paid a $600 start up to Live Deal, and I was still getting charged for my google ad words. I sent him an email letting him know that I went ahead and closed it myself and really wanted to hear how my campaign was going. No response. Called him. No response.

My husband lost 60% of his income and it looked like I was going to have to cancel. I contacted him to talk to him about options. No response.

Contacted him again letting him know that I was going to be able to make it work, but I REALLY needed to hear back from him with an update on my campaign. No response. I called the Supervisor that was under his tagline in his email Jennifer Hernandez. No response. I call customer service, she no longer works for the company.

A month or so goes by, I still have not heard from him. So from December - March I have paid them $300 a month with absolutely NO contact from him or updates/reports on my campaign. My husband and I come to the conclusion that we are being ripped-off.

I call to find out how to cancel. I am told to fax a hand-written letter stating reasons why. I do: Finances, and lack of customer service...I have no idea what my money is doing or where it is going.

I am charged for the next month. I am furious. They say it takes about 15 days to process the cancellation. I am charged for the next month.

Not only am I furious, but BROKE because we thought it had processed.

They "can not allow me to cancel" because I signed a year contract. A contract that they breached.

I got an email after I signed up STATING I would be receiving updates on my campaign. They avoid this subject. They accused me of changing my tune...that originally I needed to cancel because of finances and now it is because of them not sending me updates. My tune was always the same and I made it clear in my cancellation letter (which is good for WHAT exactly?) that they were not fulfilling their end of the bargain.

Guess what? Derek Shores has been promoted. I am sure he got TONS of people to sign up with the crap he was feeding customers. Good job on getting people to believe your lies, you get an office with a window now.

Customer Service could not tell me why he told me that I would be getting updated on my campaign...they only do that with SOME of their contracts. What does that even mean. You mean there are people who are aware and okay with giving you money with no proof their money is working for them?

They were willing to pull my file and check my reports and show me that I was getting clicks. TOO LATE! They did not follow through on the contract and still would not "allow me to cancel."

What it comes down to is taking it up the a*s. They have robbed me and put me through something I never thought I would experience. I am not a confrontational person. I do NOT like using forceful language. But, I will not be silent. People need to know this company is shady.

The ONLY thing I can do is get my lawyer involved which will cost...or chalk it up to my fault for not doing my homework. Now I have to close my bank account so they can't ever charge me again...because they assured me they will keep charging me.

I'm so sorry that you had to go through the same nightmare as I did. Luckily my credit card company was great and got every cent back for me that they stole. I'm not sure how you paid them, if it was through your credit card, then contact them and tell them the whole story about how you were misled and this company has commited fraudulent charges on your card, without delivering the promised service and they should be able to help you get all of it back. It amazes me how these guys can do this to people especially in your country's recession right now. They have no soul what so ever. Hopefully one day they will get what's coming to them a huge lawsuit and they will have to shut down. Good luck with getting your money back. I hope it all works out for you and your family.
