L&L Diamond Locating ripoff Chicago Illinois
I contacted Jerry @ L&L Diamond Locators to locate vending machines that I bought. He told me about their high traffic data base information that they would use to locate my machines for me.
At $55.00 per location. I have 18 machines which they charged me a total of $990.00. This would take about a week. Well the week has turned into 4 weeks as of now. I start receiving bad locations from the start. Two locations were people's homes. The rest were either in a high violence area and or miles off back roads with no trafiic. Yet they use this "High Traffic Data Information". They tell me that if I have any problems to just email the locations, and it would be taking care of.
When I ask what's going on when I don't hear from them, they sent me to another email address. (sub contractors) They took my money with no problem, but told me to tke it up with someone else. Plus they would send me rude emails claiming they can't answer my questions. [email protected] are who they kept sending me to. So I ask them, and they get rude. "We are not miracle workers, and we can't snap our fingers and walla it's there" are the remarks I get. We have 25 ladies working 15 accounts is there excuse.
High Traffic Data Information turns out to be telamarketers calling from yellow book pages. These professionals turn around and give me a location that they just gave me last week ! Scam alert. They are very polite to you until they receive their money. After that, expect a run around for information of any kind.

Setting the Record Straight

This rebuttal is in response to what one of our customers had to say.The customer Michael said we ripped him off when in fact we did exactly what he had asked for. Michael enetered into a contract agreement for us to place 18 bulk vending candy machines for him. When he called we explain our entire program in depth not only to him but evereyone who calls our offices. He was explained that we would need zip codes to place his machines in locations. We create a database of retail locations within the zip code Michael requested. We did have a few problems with locations he did not want and we DID replace each one of them for him as he requested. Suddenly after we have already located 14 of his 18 machines Michael decided he made a mistake and should of went to a different area to place his machines and told us that he wanted to move his machines to a different area. Michael expected us to do the entire job over for free. We could not do this. The staff member doing the work was paid for each location secured and accepted by Michael and we could not ask her to start over and replace all the machines located into different locations in a different area for free. We offered to replace every machine in the area he now wanted to go to at a discount price that would of covered cost to do the job over again. As I said we were willing to do it again at cost NO PROFIT to help Michael out any way we could. Michael should of researched the area he wanted to place machines in completely before giving us the zips to work with NOT when we were almost done. We were more than fair to Michael and see no reason why he feels it is our fault that he made a mistake. If Michael would of decided to go elsewhere when we had only a few machines placed we would of accomodated his request but were unable to do so when his account was almost completed. Michael has listed our website. Let anyone visit it and they will see a huge section of testimonials from our customers. We will still help Michael if he would like at the discounted rate we quoted him if he still wants to move his machines elsewhere at NO PROFIT to us. Lisa-owner/operator LL Diamond locating Inc.
