I called this company at 8:10 pm after failing to be able to unlock it myself. When I called I said, "what are your prices?" The guy on the other end replied, "what are you needing? " I answered, "I locked my keys in the car. It is a 2000 Ford Explorer." A child could use the internet to determine what kind of locks said car has & then make a REASONABLE estimate from there, this was not the case, as he told me what they tell everyone else. "It will be a $14 service fee to come out & our rates start at $29. Can I get your address?" So around 8:50, their tech shows up. He asks for id/driver license, writes the name down on his notepad, takes a look at the car, writes the model "Ford Exp." And the license plate number. This is the only information he wrote on his notepad/sales transaction receipt. He then asks that I fill out the information at the top, address & such. He grabs his 2 air bags, shivved em in, then with his stick, hit the unlock button. It took him no more than 2 minutes. At this point he points his things away, as I get in the car to retrieve my keys. My girlfriend, who was there the whole time, then watches him use his phone to calculate some things & writes these figures on the same notepad/sales transaction receipt he had previously written on & that I had put my information on. This is important to remember. So I ask what the cost is going to be & he replies "174 dollars." "What?! The guy on the phone said it'd be around $43, $14 for service, $29 to start. Why is it so expensive?!" He told us that "prices are double after 6:30 pm & there is a $15 tax charge for the government." He said this "this is for the government" bit several times, which really struck me as odd at the time & come to find out, these services aren't taxed in the state of Arizona so that was a blatant lie to just try to swindle more money out of me. I told him his price was ridiculous & wanted to speak to his supervisor. He called his superior & then says, "I can take the $14 service fee off." "No, you don't get it, I was quoted $43, & you're trying to charge me more than 4 times that amount, a price which I find unreasonable." He mentioned again that it was after 6:30 pm so prices are double. My girlfriend chimes in saying, "I called you after 8pm, if your prices are double after 6:30 pm, then the guy on the phone lied to me, a starting price would not be $29. Or at the very least he should have said starting prices are $29 but since its after hours it will be double. You guys came out here on a false pretense, this is bullshit." We literally did not have this kind of money. My girlfriend retrieved her phone from which we had called them on earlier so I could speak to them. At one point the guy said if you don't have the money, we will lock your keys back in the car & you still have to pay the $ 14 service fee. I could not believe what I was hearing. I'm a really laid back, easy going guy, I never raise my voice, but these people made me angry! I told them I had $55 in my pocket & they could take it or leave it. They finally did after some heated noise. I would recommend staying far away from this company.
