After hearing a Loral Langemeier infomercial I ordered her book. Only $9.95 for shipping.
They proceeded to sign me up for a coaching/mentoring service. I realized they had charged me for the service after seeing a $73.53 charge on my bank account.
I already own a business and have no need for their service. I called them up asking for a refund. I was unprepared for what was next.
The customer "service" gal was extremely RUDE, AGGRESSIVE and CONDESCENDING. A 3 minute conversation with her will make your blood boil. She talked over me, was snide, and arrogant.
Their people are clearly trained to say "NO" to any request for a refund, and to get aggressive with you if you push back or try to reason with them.
I asked for a supervisor. After much resistance I was put on hold for 10 minutes waiting. The guy finally got on the phone told me the same thing, though he was a little less infuriating then the girl. He still refused to give me another phone number or name of someone higher up, and basically told me to take a hike.
I even asked for the phone number for Loral Langemeier or her assistant and they both refused. The first customer service rep laughed at me when I stated I wanted Loral's phone number and said "So would I".
The second guy compared Loral to Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, saying she is that important and thus inaccessible.
In short, this company's practices are among the worst I have ever experienced. I'm sure there are many consumers that have experience the same thing.
