I recently purchased a refrigerator at lowe's. There was a

problem with the freezer door not closing all the way and causing

condensation.

I went to the store and requested that a service

technician come to my home to assess and/or correct the situation.

lowe's stated they would send a delivery man rather

than a service technician and did not know when the delivery man would be able to come. The store manager made no attempt to satisfy this customer.

I made the decision that they should just come and get the refrigerator. The store manager indicated this would be fine.

The salesman stated the refrigerator would be picked up on today and that the delivery team would call me at 7 a.m. to let me know if it would be a morning pick-up or evening pick-up. As of 7:40 a.m., lowe's had not called. I called the store and spoke with the delivery manager.

He stated they could not pick-up the refrigerator on today but would try to pick it up tomorrow. There was no consideration to the fact that I had made plans to be away from work on today and the fact that I will have to request off tomorrow. I still do not know whe the refrigerator will be picked up. The personnel at lowe's showed no consideration to the fact that I work full-time. They were unwilling to work with me and unwilling to send a service technician to my home.

Therefore, customer satisfaction is not honored.

Mam, on behalf of lowe's I apologize for the way your situation was handled. There is no excuse for this type of actions so I won't try to make any. They should have sent someone out for you to take care of it or just delivered you a new refrigerator and picked the other one up. If you let the store manager know and he doesn't handle it he needs to learn how important you as a Lowe's customer are to him. You can ask the store for the number for the district manager or call 1-800-44lowes, and report your problem and I guarantee someone at the higher level will be all over that stores butt for not taking care of this simple solution. Sorry and I hope you will come back to Lowe's eventually.
