I feel for OP. How many service calls occured in year 1 ? Whatever the number, the service administrator does not take ANY liability for repairs - it's all in the fine print terms and conditions.
After year 1, it would have to fail 3x for the SAME thing and then the 4th repair would be a check or gift card to you for the full purchase price.
Plus, your GE Profile refrigerator has a 5-year warranty on the sealed system - compressor, evaporator, coils and condensor. If your problems were here, the service company would not take liability at all in the 5 years for any of the sealed system because it is still a mfr issue. Essentially, you're covered for the ice-maker and electrical issues.
