LTK Research Ripoff - Either Liars Or Insane Minot North Dakota
On 04/05/04 I placed an order with LTK Research, noting they state on their website that they have changed the way they are doing business. Having purchased from them before, I must admit they got this much right!
After they had charged my credit card and a week and a half had elapsed - I specified Express Delivery and the item was said to be in stock - I tried phoning them. Disconnected. I sent several emails to them that went unanswered. I finally offered to report them to my bank as engaging in fraud. This time they did respond, stating they were not in the business of ripping off their customers and that my order had been delayed and would ship soon.
It never did ship. Once again I emailed and demanded my money back. I got an auto-response saying they were out of business and all money would be returned. I waited a few days to let it post to my account. Never did. Wrote again and got the same auto-response.
Next stop: Notify my bank and do a chargeback on my card. If they haven't pulled their bank account and moved to the Cayman Islands!
