I called Mobile Messenger. They confirmed that the service was cancelled within 2 minutes of activation and two additional times. The bills, however, continued to come in. I am waiting for the refund. I got the name of the customer service rep who talked in circles and also the case number. In addition, I took notes on the conversation. I will continue to follow up until I see the check. I suggest others do the same. The reason this continues is because a lot of people would rather forget $9.99 for a month or two rather than deal with trying to hunt down the company and push for a refund. That makes it quite profitable for Mobile Messenger to continue this scam.

Thank you so much Teresa and others for your information and insight into this issue. I too have been a victim of the "Premium Text Message". I started receiving them on October 22 and followed up with nine STOP ALL replies even though I received three "you are no longer subscribed to this service" texts. Upon receiving my mobile invoice once again charging me for several Premium Messages at $5.00 each I contacted my mobile service provider who couldn't do anything except to suggest that I change my mobile number. The customer service rep advised that he searched the internet and couldn't find anything related to the 333-35 text number or the [email protected]. However, it took me all of five minutes to find your report on ripoffreport.com which allowed me to immediately contact the 1-800-416-6129 where I spoke to someone named Richard. Upon providing him my mobile number he was able to see the numerous times I attempted to stop the service and noted that the service never acted on my requests. He advised that he has now discontinued the premium texts and will reimbursing the charges. Fingers crossed I hope this works. Thank you again!

Thank you Michael in California for the information you gave me. After 8 months I finally got my money back. I called 1-800-416-6129 the number you gave and talked to Jvette and she refunded my money. They said that the office was in India and they have now brought all business back to US and trying to solve all problems. She also stated that she could see where I had never responded by text mess to accept or request downloads and she could also see where there was a request and order for my refund but it was never completed or sent. Thanks again Michael for the correct phone number, and I also want to thank you Rip Off for having this site. I hope I dont have to use this site again, but if I have any more problem like this. I will use this site. I will also tell others about this site for helping them solve any rip-offs. Thanks again Sincerely Teresa A CASE CLOSED THANKS TO RIP OFF AND ITS FRIENDS

After several emails, phone calls and demands and after I told them I would fight this with legal help, they say the will refund my intire amount paid in. I still couldnt get it across the the man that called me that I didnt have text messaging, because he said if it happened again just to key in STOP on my text message screen. DUH!!!! anyway after telling him that the bill was @ $90.00 he then said he would send me a check for $50. I said $50?????? I dont think so. Then I left the decision up to him. He could either refund me the amount I paid in or I would go to an attorney and he could then refund my intire amount paid in, plus attorney fee, plus court cost and I'd try real hard to get pay for all the stress I've been through sence 4/1/07 trying to get this settled. The choice was up to him. He said let him talk to his supervisor then came back to the phone and asked me to fax the bills to him at 310-317-7144 and I should get my check in 10 to 12 days full refund. I faxed it right away and of course it said no such number. mean while he called my cell phone number and the number that was left on my cell phone said number disconected. I came home the next day and tried the fax again, same thing. I tried one more time and it went through. I emailed then after it went through and advised them that it had been faxed and all the trouble I had. I advised them, and I quote, that per my attorney that they needed to email me back by 5/10/07 5pm to let me know they received the fax. Not the fax that they usually send out following a email they receive, but a fax stating they they received my fax, the amount on the fax, and what they plan to do about it. And if there were any bills on my next months bill they needed to take it off or add it to my refund. If I dont receive the email from them then I would assume that it was a fake fax number like all of the other fake numbers they have and I would follow up with my attorney, end of quote. I also told them that if I hadnt received the check or for some reason I couldn't cash the check then I would be in my attorneys office on the 21st. I told them not to call my cell phone again and there was nothing else to talk about. The choice was up to them I'm tired of trying. On the 10th I received a email from them stating all I asked them to state and I would get a full refund and the stated that they know there will be no more charges on my phone bill. I want to feel good about this, but I want feel good untill I can cash the check. For all of the readers PLEASE becareful because there are alot of ripoff sites out there. DONT BELIEVE IT WHEN THEY SAY ITS FREE. I'll let you know when I receive and cash this check. You would not believe how many people I've found out about through my cell phone company are being ripped off by these ringtones and stuff for your cell phone. If it happens to you and you honestly know you should not be charged for it, then make a stand and fight for what is right. These people should not be able to get away with this. Its up to us to stop these rip offs. STAND UP FOR WHATS RIGHT!!!
