MacAnthony Realty Investment THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU GO ON INSPECTION TRIP!! MARBELLA Spain
If you're considering foreign investment - think twice before you use this Company. Our experience is that when we went on the inspection trip, we were given lots of misinformation. This only came to light after we had paid over our deposit. The costs of furniture pack and ancillary costs escalated. As a result, we found ourselves in a precarious position and could not afford to pay the additional costs involved in the purchase. We had no option but to pull out of the sale at a financial loss to us. MRI DID NOT GIVE A d**n about us or the fact that we were in a dilemma. They afford absolutely NO DUTY OF CARE to a prospective purchaser but reel you in like a lamb to the slaughter. They even persuaded us to join the "Lifetime Aftersales" and pay membership and when the sale did not proceed and we looked for the membership back they refused .... So we are now members of "Lifetime Aftersales" .... after the sale of what?!!! This was our experience and a lesson learned. Our advice to you is STAY WELL AWAY!!

Everything i read about MRI is completely true. i used to work for the company that deals with their financial advice - Capital Financial Partners - This company is actually owned by MRI, on the title deeds for CFP is none other than the name Darragh Macanthony. They are one and the same company, both offering bad advice, i would no sooner buy a property through MRI than i would take a mortgage with CFP. You have been warned and are constantly getting warned. Unfortunately Darragh Macanthony seems to have the power to shut down certain sites that tell the truth about his compan(ies) so it is difficult to let everyone know. Another tip, do not use the solicitors that MRI recommend - Martinez Echevarria - yes you've guessed it, another one that Darragh gets backhanders from although he doesn't actually own this one (for a change). Having worked for the company long enough, all i can say is that you will get yourself nothing but trouble if you go on IF with MRI, there are plenty of other reputable companies out there that you can go on inspection visits with that will actually look after you and won't give you the hard sell like MRI do.
