MADD RECOVERY, INC ( Legal ) BULLDOG RECOVERY, INC. (Assumed) Took Posession of Vehicle,Towed, Stored and Defaced Active Illinois License Plate Number With White Paint. Dyer, Indiana
On February 14, 2011, a Bulldog Recovery tow truck drove up my residential driveway, without my awareness and towed my 2007 Chevy HHR LS away. They did not leave a calling card, but did contact the Phoenix Police Department. This is how I learned they were from Dyer, Indiana, however, they did not give me an address to where they took my vehicle.
I bagan to search them out via the internet and obtained their adress. The next day, I drove to Dyer, Indiana to find them. I did not see their name or the adress on any buildngs. I decided to ask
a nearby worker who pointed the direction to their operation. I sat outside and watched their tow trucks drive in and out this open wire fense, which verified that I found them.
I went and purchased a camera from a nesarby store to take pictures, becasue I was suspiciou, in that there was no address or business name on the builing or door of their operation.
I decided to drive around the back of their building and to my surprise, I saw my vehicle parked about two feet from the fense, I could almost touch it. This is when I notice that my license plate
number had been painted over with what appeared to be white paint. I took pictures of this and after it's development, I filed a police report with the Dyer Police Deptartment.
I beleive they saw me take pictures, because when i returned the next day, my vehicle was gone.
I finally obtained their phone number and called them. I was informed that it had been transported for private Auction at Adesa Indianapolis, LLC, and Par North America, Inc., in Carmel, Indiana.
Under the FOIA, I requested Madd Recovery, Inc's business records from the Town Of Dyer. To my surprise, they did not have record of their existence, prior to and at the time of their activity. They did not obtain a business license, which explained why they did not have their name displayed on the building they operated from.
The bulding Madd Recovery, Bulldog Recovery, operated from ithe building of Krazy Kaplans, known as a fireworks retailer. According to the Indiana Secretary of State, Madd Recovery, etc., have been on file with them since February 2010.
This towing/recovery company has illegally operated their business under the radar of local govern-ment and the federal government for at least one year. This means that they have avoided both local and federal income taxes. The Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, need to know about them. They love going after income tax evaders.
