I bought 2 Premium Car Kit for my iPod Touch. To be able to operate them I had to purchase 2 map software (iTuran and RoadMate). I spend about $200 on these products and th Premium Car Kit is not working with iPod Touch. First it starts looking for GPS signal and then a message appear stating:"This Application is not supported by iPod Touch".
Customer Service should know about this issue and not contineously mislead the public. However, all they were trying to do is make you look stupid and repeated the instructions from the manual. This saga of email correspondence went on for about 6 months, until I was fed up and requested a refund and compensations. At that point customer service ignored all my emails.
A company like Magellan that sells probably some good products to the public should be accountable to ALL its products. If Premium Car Kit does not work with iPod Touch, they should take off iPod Label from the product. Customer service should be knowledgeable about all faults and resolve them as quickly as possible and not grag and delay handling problems.
I want my money back and I want the public to be aware that Magellan should not be trusted. Stay away from their products. There are very good competitors that respect their customers.
