MARKET LEADER providing leads for real estate proffessional Bellevue Washington
I am pretty sure a lot of people heard of Market Leader. A company that provide leads to Real Estate professionals. I am pretty new in the Real Estate industry and I tend to trust the people/company that said they would help me.
I called Market Leader one day because I saw their adverstisement on youtube.com. The sales guy that was assigned to was Dan Thomas. After having a conversation with the sales person Dan Thomas at Market Leader, he convinced me to sign up for six months of MarketLeader leads to boost my business. He said the leads that I get are quality leads, leads that can be converted into clients. He said if I don't use it, I don't have to pay for it. I thought it would be a good idea since I am starting and I need as much help as I can get.
A day after I signed the contract, I didn't have a good feeling about it, so I called Market Leader to canceled. A lady who was helping me said to cancel, I need to speak to the sales agent Dan Thomas. While I talked to him, again he convinced me to stick with it. I said I will try it out for a month and if it doesn't work out, I can cancel it.
So I am suppose to get 5 Sellers quality leads from each zipcode that I requested. I have 2 zipcodes, my total leads were suppose to be 10 leads. This cost $ 600.00 a month.
I tried it out, in a week and since then, I called MarketLeader to cancel. The leads that I get was not quality lead. They were leads, that said - just looking - you stupid (as owners name ) - owners that just close escrow, incorrect phone numbers. If I am going to pay $600.00 for this, I am hell stupid.
I have been trying to cancel, leaving Dan Thomas messages on his voice mail and email. He is no where to be found. No respond from him. All they do now is having the billing office to call me for collection.
So, if you have a good experience with Market Leaders, good for you. But if you are new like me and want to boost your business, I really suggest you to look else where. If anything, do more open houses and you will get better results.
Market Leader does not deliver of what they adveritise and you definitely can not get a hold of anyone else there if you want to cancel. It will be just the billing office. You can't speak to the manager or anyone.
So Do I feel Ripoff? Totally and completely because there is nothing more I hate than people who LIE and don't deliver to what they say!
