Market Leader A SNARE AND A RACKET! FIRST RATE SCAM ARTIST! Kirkland, Washington
REAL ESTATE AGENTS BEWARE! SCAM!
I hope my comments help for someone who falls into this trap of Market Leader. I just started with Market Leader in 3 months ago because they disguised who they were and advertised under another name.
It is not worth spending any money on these leads. These leads are useless. They seem to push so called leads at the end of the month just to meet their quota. Most of the consumers are looking for properties below average price for this area
and basically the leads can not be materialized. Most of the phone numbers are incorrect. Some of the leads do not want to be contacted.
Also, good companies that are confident about their product dont ask you to sign a contract. If they are so good they should allow people to sign on month-to-month terms and let the Realtors decide. Most of the consumers are pushed to sign just to see a property. These are not real leads. If I follow everything Market Leader said, then I should be able to convert at least
one lead in 90 days. The sales person with whom I signed up with said. He seemed to be a nice person and he said he will be managing my account. Once I signed up he ignored my emails and/or phone calls. He referred me to a team person and she was not helpful at all. She said that I had an unrealistic expectation of closing 1 lead in 90 days and it would be more like 6 months. She did not know how to treat customers. It could be Market Leaders culture to treat clients that way when clients are disappointed with them. I was promised a lot of results but they absolutely under delivered. I am a smart yet, I fell in this "lead" trap.
I tried to speak with 2 other people to see if I could get some help in trying to rectify the situation. The last person I spoke with was Matt. he said that I was under contract and if i wanted to cancel I would need to pay $2000 to get out of the contract.
