She hardly ever answered the phone when my cat was in heat and was hard to make an appointment with her when it was a critical time to get my cat to her Stud. She was not very helpful when I did g Never returned my calls and was very hard to make appointments to see her cats or bring my cat over to breed.

Lady I have used Renate Twice for stud service and I know that you are lying through your teeth. You are a horrible person to be taking advantage of two elderly good Bengal Breeders. Renate and her husband have a contract that you sign ahead of time stating all of the facts and further breeding if one does not take. I have use her three times and all has been well. It is obvious that you are new to Bengal Breeding and do not know anything about breeding good pedigreed cats that keep the line clean. To me you just wanted to breed to sale your kittens and I call that a back yard Breeder. I wish Renate had of interviewees you more before she let your sorry butt into her cattery!!

I provided Factual evidence from my Vet that the cat only concieved on the 2nd visit........Renate stated that she concieved on the first which DID NOT MATCH THE VET RECORD. It is only HEARSAY how the cat lost the kittens in any kind of manor. My Pomeranian was KEPT AWAY from the cat the whole time, except for 1 time that was only about 30 seconds of time.....where the dog nudged her. There is no proof that this encounter was the cause of the stillborn kittens. Once again I am repeating what Renate told me, and that was that "Sometimes the first breeding does not end in a successful live litter." She has encountered that herself with her own Cats which may be in the GENETICS OF HER CATS.
Once again I say Buyer Beware!

Renata Finn claims that my cat concieved on the first visit, but that was not true that was a LIE. She only conceived on the 2nd visit, and Renata was supposed to keep my Cat the full 21 days, so she did not fulfill her part of the contract before the litter was born.
STILLBORN KITTENS ARE NOT CONSIDERED A LITTER HENCE THE CONTRACT WAS NOT FULFILLED.
My Cat was kept away from our 4 lb pomeranian the whole time she was pregnant, because they did like to play together. My 4 lb Pom pushed her lightly only 1 time. This does not prove that the kittens were hurt at that time, or that a 4 lb Pomeranian could have caused any damage at all. She could have fallen off the cat tree. So that notion is HERESAY. My Cat was bigger and heavier than my Pomeranian.
Having a stillborn litter was not a fulfulled contract, and Renata was supposed to keep her the 21 days after she conceived and did not fulfill that part of it. Renata even told me that sometimes the first litter is not successful. So maybe it was something in her genetic background of her Cats that caused the litter to be stillborn.
After all of this, Renata did not agree to rebreed my Cat. She would only do that if I would pay an ADDITIONAL $800.
RENATA FINN is not trustworthy and a lying cheat. Trying to take my money and not fulfill her part of the contract. I would not reccommend doing business with her to anyone.

This is the 5th time we have addressed some variation of this client's complaint in the past year. This client has engaged an attorney twice and has lodged complaints with two business bureaus - one in Baltimore and one in Washington D.C.
Each time, we have written a factual response in a timely manner and we have provided the objective evidence of the situation, including the signed contract and the vet report. In all cases, no further reply was requested of us once the following facts were known:
1. The client signed a contract for stud services with fulfilment of the contract upon conception.
2. The cat conceived, fulfilling the contract.
3. Kittens were stillborn, and according to the vet report were only 10 to 14 days from the full gestational period of approximately 64 days.
4. The vet report provided by the client indicates that the likely causes of the stillborn kittens was trauma. The vet further states that (the client) reported that her Pomeranian had been jumping on the cat.
5. Under the contract, if a cat does not conceive during stud services, we board the cat again and provide stud services.
6. Althought this cat did conceive, we boarded the cat again even though this was not required under the contract. Unfortunately, the cat did not conceive again with further stud services.
7. It was only when we advised the client that we could not continue to have the cat boarded at the cattery after the third visit that she complained about the original services.
In summary, the terms of the contract were fulfilled. The cat did conceive. The cat endured some type of trauma that the vet believes caused the stillborn kittens. We boarded the cat several times again after with no extra charge even though this was not required by the contract. It is unfortunate that the cat did not conceive again.
We are concerned with the level of misrepresentation that has been made by the client and we will continue to provide the facts of this case to all interested parties.
Thank you.
