Matthew Ferrell of Fero's Stash Box rips off customers.
I purchased a certain software from this individual's website sometime in December 2010. The software was extremely buggy on my vanilla Windows 7 Professional 32 bit and crashed constantly. I emailed Matthew Ferrell at
[email protected] and explained that I needed some help to get this software working. I never received a response. I sent a second email and received no response to that either. Approximately two weeks after my first email, I filed a claim with Paypal.
Seller replied deceitfully to this claim, saying that they would address all customer issues as well as they could. In matter of fact, they never communicated with me or replied to my concerns. No customer service of any sort was provided. Even when the claim was filed, the seller did not attempt to contact me to help me troubleshoot the software, despite being fully aware of a problem at this point. The claim was decided in his favor due to the fact that Paypal Buyer Protection doesn't cover downloadable items.
In addition, he lied and said that refunds couldn't be given because the software could not verified as being uninstalled once sold to a customer. This software used activation (and it demanded activation attempts constantly), so it would have been easy for Matthew Ferrell to issue a refund and disable the software (not that it worked properly in the first place, of course).
Please do NOT purchase anything from this crook Matthew Ferrell unless you want to consider it a free donation or money flushed down the toilet. They/he are unethical, completely ignore customers, but are happy to take your money. Any money spent with this crook should be considered lost and unrecoverable.
